I also did most of the the hiring, training, and supervision of all branch personnel. I was the branch's external Marketing Director. Our product lines included a vast array of consumer and real estate loan products, including the purchase of real estate loans from other financial institutions on a bulk basis. I conceptualized and planned "1st Annual Networking Dinner" which was attended by 85 Orange County mortgage banking professionals. The dinner was held in Irvine, Ca. 1981-1984 Avco Financial Services, Inc. Branch Manger, Huntington Beach, Ca. and San Clemente, Ca. I was responsible for the supervision and control of all lending and operational functions of a 5 million dollar branch. I supervised a staff of five loan officers and support staff. 1978-1981 Scott. E. Campbell Automatic Fire Sprinkler Company Office Manager, Los Angeles, Ca. I was responsible for the supervision of the accounting administration and credit functions of this industrial contractor. I revamped the credit department, and also re-developed the job cost system program. My related responsibilities included serving as the legal liaison for contract negotiations, insurance procurements, office equipment procurement, and I developed and implemented the firm's first employee safety program, which won rave reviews from SAFECO Insurance. I supervised a staff of five employees.
